Prompted by friends’ reports of tastiness, I picked up the Green Mountain Holiday-themed variety pack for my Keurig coffeemaker–specifically, for the Golden French Toast flavor. Unfortunately it is the “one of these things is not like the others” in the box. Their Holiday Blend, Gingerbread and Spicy Eggnog are yummy, but it’s very clear–to me–that french toast should be eaten and not drunk. Still the price is a good deal on the set if you can find it, or order the individual flavors directly.

Co-worker just told me that the waitress at Cantina Marina told her the management doesn’t serve brown liquor because they’d like to avoid the type of customer it attracts. I don’t go there often, but hope that it was just a seriously misinformed server.
